The Wagner Library renovation and addition was a complex project that required careful coordination between multiple disciplines, including designs by architects, mechanical & electrical engineers, and interior designers. As the general contractor, Tasch Construction managed the challenge of integrating these elements while overseeing trades and subcontractors to keep the project on track. Our role was to ensure seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and precise execution of each phase, from structural upgrades to interior finishes. By leveraging our experience with project management, we delivered a cohesive and functional space that met the design intent and exceeded client expectations.

St. Charles Parish Hospital needed to transform an existing, active area into a modern, fully equipped training facility-without disrupting adjacent critical operations, including the emergency department, which remained in full use throughout construction. The hospital required a space that could support ongoing staff development, simulations, and administrative training while reflecting the high standards of care and professionalism associated with their healthcare environment.

Ship Happens, a successful print and shipping retailer in the heart of downtown New Orleans, had outgrown their original space. To keep up with customer demand and streamline operations, they acquired the adjacent unit and brought Tasch in to handle the renovation and expansion.

When East St. John High School initiated a major renovation of their gymnasium, the goal was to create a space that not only met functional needs, but also reflected the school’s esteemed reputation. By focusing on brand identity, cost efficiency, and aesthetic appeal, East St. John High School aimed to create an environment that appealed to students, faculty, and community members.

Full renovation of approximately 11,000 square feet for the law offices of Burns and Charest. The project featured custom millwork, decorative ceilings, and extensive glass installations throughout, creating a refined and open environment. Highlights include new private offices, conference and meeting rooms, and a modern break room/cafe - all with finishes selected to reflect the firm’s professional image and commitment to quality.

St. Tammany Parish School Board aimed to provide a safer and more efficient space for student arrival and dismissal, shielding students from the elements while streamlining traffic flow. The project included new protective bollards, lighting improvements, and ADA-compliant upgrades to ensure the campus meets accessibility standards and enhances the overall experience for all students, staff, and visitors.

A major hospital in Jefferson Parish experienced a critical issue they didn’t even know they had: an underground leak on their fire protection water line about 2 blocks away from the facility. The problem only surfaced during a routine sprinkler inspection by another vendor, when low pressure was discovered. Once the problem was confirmed, the hospital’s director of facilities made two immediate phone calls: the first was to alert the local fire department of the situation, and the second was to Tasch to get the issue fixed fast.
